This Level 1 Ethics of Trauma Informed Care training is a self-paced asynchronous course designed to provide mental health professionals and teachers to bring more trauma-informed practices into their professional and personal life.
What You Will Receive:
- Over 2 hours of trauma-informed tips and resources.
- 2 Ethics Continuing Education Hours (CEs).
- Certificate of Completion.
Training Objectives:
- Define trauma and identify potential sources of trauma.
- Recognize the impact that stress and trauma can have on both therapist and client.
- Describe how trauma can impact the brain and autonomic nervous system.
- Give trauma-informed language and phrasing to use when implementing somatic tools with clients.
